Following up on a strong showing at the age group nationals, the 15-year-old Milton Marlin standout enjoyed another tidy haul at last week's Ontario Summer Games in Ottawa.
He medaled in six of his seven events, factoring heavily into the 24-member Central Region Swim Team's overall victory.
Burke's best efforts were reserved for his bread and butter breaststroke, in which he won both the 100 and 200m races -- clocking it at 1:11.74 and 2:39.65.
Though unable to secure any personal best finishes in the nation's capital, he'd claim silver in both the 50 and 100m freestyle and take bronze in the 200m freestyle and 200m individual medley.
The Marlins sent three other teen boys to the games, with all of them capturing at least one medal.
Snagging a pair was 13-year-old Scott Davis, who placed third in the 100m backstroke and 100m breaststroke.
Fifteen-year-old Colm Whitford took silver in the grueling 1,500m freestyle, while Bryan Iwasa-Madge -- also 15 -- was third in the 50m freestyle.
