Putting a hammerlock on their hosts Tuesday night, the Junior Red Sox kicked off the season with a 10-1 dismantling of the Erindale Cardinals.
A combined no-hitter saw Scott McTrach, Craig Howse and Jon Brady work two innings apiece before Sean Mathé closed things out.
Along with some solid pitching and flawless fielding, the Red Sox enjoyed a balanced attack highlighted by two-hit nights from Howse, Lee Mathé and Nick Vipond.
Will Hunter scored twice.
The only run against Milton came on a balk by Howse.
