The Flamborough Antique Show's return to Milton is like seeing an old friend.
After almost five years, the show will be back in town for a day. Tomorrow from dawn until 4 p.m., more than 100 vendors from across Ontario will showcase antique furnishings -- including advertising and nostalgia items, paintings, decorative arts and unique lighting -- in outdoor and indoor booths at the Milton Fair Grounds.
Rene Huard from the TV show Antique Hunter will have his own booth, featuring Canadiana antiques, folk art and vintage sporting items.
Admission costs $8 from dawn until noon and $4 from noon to 2 p.m. After 2 p.m., admission is free of charge. Parking, meanwhile, is free all day long.
It's an environmentally-friendly event, with $1 off the $8 admission for patrons who show a reusable bag at the gate. Plastic bags will not be supplied for purchases.
