Help and compassion shown for elderly injured woman very much appreciated

I want to acknowledge three Good Samaritans of Milton who helped my mother May 3.
At about 3 p.m., my mother -- who is 82 years of age -- was walking home from the Milton Mall when she fell. Jim and Julie Charles, who were driving by in one vehicle, and Ginny Foster, in another, saw my mother on the ground and stopped to provide assistance.
It was raining quite heavily and in order to keep my mother dry, these quick-thinking and thoughtful Good Samaritans covered my mother with some plastic and held an umbrella over her head until the ambulance arrived.
These three caring individuals also comforted my mother by holding her hand, talking to her and calling some of her children. Upon arrival at Milton District Hospital, it was determined that my mother had broken her hip as a result of this fall.
On behalf of my wife and all my siblings, I wish to thank and praise Julie and Jim Charles and Ginny Foster for their kindness.
