The festivities, which will run from 4 to 6 p.m., will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Mayor Gord Krantz and Halton MPP Ted Chudleigh.

The former Ramada Inn, the new hotel opened its doors in March.

Two years ago, the Ramada Inn added an indoor saltwater mineral lap pool and fitness centre. But its brand new label has brought with it even more extensive renovations, including a carport for the exterior of the building, which is currently under construction.

In addition, standard comforters have been replaced by duvet bedding, and massage showerheads have been installed.

The restaurant has also undergone major renovations, and was recently taken over by Milton's Troy Newton, licensed, and re-introduced as Troy's. An important feature of Troy's restaurant is its all-day breakfast. During the week, a made-to-order breakfast is included in the price of the stay.

According to Best Western Milton's general manager Nashrin Struk, the hotel's customer service and its on-site diner are what set it apart.

The hotel, owned by Shamim Warren, offers 94 guest rooms including 30 executive suites.

Amenities in the rooms include a refrigerator, microwave and wireless high-speed Internet access.

Its an attraction for many corporate guests, says Struk, because of its business centre -- which includes printing and faxing services, as well as meeting facilities to accommodate up to 250 people.
