Local business giving away sauces for barbecue event
'World's Longest Barbecue -- Canada Day 2!' to be held this Saturday

Some lucky residents will be able to experience the flavours of India during this Saturday's World's Longest Barbecue, thanks to a local business.
Himalaya Gourmet -- which specializes in a number of pastes to prepare favourite Indian dishes such as butter chicken -- is giving away 24 bottles of its Tandoori Masala barbecue sauce to interested residents to incorporate into their own barbecues.
The sauce was recently added to the shelves at the A&P store on Kennedy Circle, said Sulana D'Souza of Himalaya Gourmet, who will be participating in the barbecue event along with neighbours.
'The World's Longest Barbecue -- Canada Day 2!' is an event in which families are encouraged to fire up the barbecue at 6 p.m. and cook with Canadian ingredients.
