It’s once again time to remember their sacrifices.
Miltonians have a number of opportunities to pay tribute to their local veterans over the next week, beginning with this Sunday’s march from the Royal Canadian Legion (21 Charles St.) to the Victoria Park cenotaph (beside Town Hall), which will begin at 1:30 p. m.
A service will be held at the cenotaph at 2 p. m.
Then on Remembrance Day (next Wednesday) a parade and ceremony will be held at 10:45 a. m. at Milton Evergreen Cemetery on Ontario Street. A luncheon will follow at the Legion banquet hall at noon.
Tickets for the luncheon cost $5 and are available until Saturday in the Legion’s clubroom.
