Gift basket fundraiser held

Residents with some difficult-to-buy-for people on their Christmas lists might want to check out a fundraiser a local business is holding.

Until Christmas, Advantage Physiotherapy, 550 Ontario St. S., unit 7, will sell gift baskets of all-natural products from Andrews’ Scenic Acres. Included in the baskets — which can be customized — are a variety of products including jam, honey, maple syrup, bee pollen and bee-related products. They range in price from $10 to $100, with proceeds going to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Halton.

“We feel that it is a very important charity, and Christmastime should be about young people and families,” said Valerie Brouwers of Advantage Physiotherapy.
