A Milton man had thrice the luck recently with Pro Picks Pools tickets.
On October 21, Triven Persaud won a total of $145,000 on three sports betting tickets he purchased at a convenience store in Brampton. He claimed $21,849 on one ticket, $55,910 on another and $67,657 on the third.
The married 35-year-old said he plans to use the windfall to pay off his mortgage and save money for his three-year-old son’s education.
This isn’t the first time Persaud has found himself in the winner’s circle. In the past couple years, the Champion has written about $82,000 he won also playing Pro Picks Pools and $100,000 he took home on Point Spread, another sports betting game.
In other local Pro Picks news, Miltonian Toni Ilievski won $26,264 on November 1. The winning ticket was purchased at Petro Canada Neighbours on Thompson Road South.
