Additional assault charges have been laid against a youth who allegedly brought an air pistol to a local high school and fired it.
Police said two more E. C. Drury High School students have reported being shot October 22.
The Ontario Street school was the scene of a lockdown early that afternoon after a student was struck by the air pistol.
A 16-year-old Milton male was arrested a short time later and charged with assault with a weapon, carrying a concealed weapon and possessing a dangerous weapon.
He’s now charged with two more charges of assault with a weapon, police said.
“These are not toys and are not to be brought into a school environment,” said Halton Regional Police Det. Murray Drinkwalter, adding air pistols can be very dangerous.
