All of the above await those who turn out
at the second annual Chick Flicks at the 5, set for Wednesday at The 5 Drive-In, located at 2332 Ninth Line, in Oakville.
The cinematic festival will offer moviegoers a combination of Mama Mia and Baby Mama.
Prior to the main event, a 'diva-style' tailgate party will be held, featuring a range of activities, from a pole dancing demonstration (audience participation encouraged) to massages, tarot card readings, numerology and manicures.
Participants can also shop 'til they drop thanks to an assortment of products that will be present, including luggage, leather goods and jewelry.
Those concerned that a dirty windshield may impair their enjoyment of the movie need not fear, as local firefighters will be on hand, in their gear, to clean car windows for a $5 donation. Opportunities also exist to win prizes, with four tickets to We Will Rock You available in a draw.
Golfing for four at Delhi Golf and Country Club and a $50 gift certificate to Milestones will also be up for grabs.
Chick Flicks at the 5 is a fundraiser with a portion of the night's take going toward the Halton Women's Centre.
With one in four women in Halton experiencing at least one incident of violence at the hands of a boyfriend or husband, the centre's services are in demand now more than ever.
The cost of attending Wednesday's event is $20 per car, with the products and services at the tailgate party costing extra.
The 5 Drive-In snack bar will be open and (weather permitting) a barbecue will be held with 25 per cent of all concession sales going to support the Halton Women's Centre.
The gates to Chick Flicks at the 5 open at 5:30 p.m., with the movie starting at dusk.
