Inquest to be held

An inquest into the death of a Milton construction worker has been scheduled for later this year.
Rodney Bedell, 40, died in June of last year from injuries received on the job when he was working as a roofer at a local construction site.
The inquest will begin November 12 at 9:30 a.m. at Best Western Milton, 161 Chisholm Dr. Under the Coroners Act, an inquest is mandatory when a worker dies as a result of an accident occurring at a construction project.
The inquest is expected to last three days and will hear from about 10 witnesses. It will be presided over by inquest coroner Dr. Reuven R. Jhirad.
