Doing so will help the Salvation Army deal with an unprecedented and dramatic dip in men's clothing donations.
As the largest non-governmental direct provider of social services, the charity is experiencing one of the lowest donation periods of men's clothing in years.
"I cannot remember a time in well over a decade where we have ever seen such a dramatic reduction of donations of men's clothing," Arlene Boden, executive director for central and southwestern Ontario recycling operations, said in a press release.
"In order for us to meet our demands in supplying men's clothing to communities across the province, we are hoping and relying on the compassion of the public to respond to our plea by helping us through this very difficult situation."
The local Salvation Army thrift store is located at 420 Main St., Unit 400. It's open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday.
