A local man has won big playing Instant Keno.
Alfredo Saraiva, a 47-year-old Miltonian, took home the grand prize of $50,000 this week.
He played the ticket recently when sitting in his car before the start of his work shift. After discovering he'd won, he was too excited to work.
"I couldn't believe it! I checked it over and over again," he said. "I had to go home and calm down."
He plans to pay off debts and buy a Jeep.
The winning ticket was purchased at a convenience store in Mississauga.
