Offensively, it was Milton's youngest and oldest who led the way.

First-year senior Nick Mazzorato punched out a pair of singles and drove in the winning run, while Joe Jurus recorded two hits as well, including a double.

RBI singles were also delivered by Steve Lauzon and Matt Tales, who continues to show improvement at the plate.

The low-scoring game was in stark contrast to the Red Sox's previous victory, when they hammered out a dozen hits to dump the lowly Mississauga North Tigers 15-2.

Showing no sign of cooling off since his productive season start, Taylor Lawton had three hits, including a two-run homer in the first.

Tales and Curt Davies drove in three runs apiece, while Kurt Mitchell had an RBI triple and Lauzon -- returning from the disabled list -- hit a single and helped cash in four runs with his savvy work at the plate.

Derek Howe earned his first league win with a solid six-inning stint.

Milton hopes to keep its winning ways going at this weekend's London Lakeside Tournament.
