The Milton Seniors' Activity Centre, 500 Childs Dr., holds contract bridge at 1:30 p.m. and darts and billiards from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. The cost for each activity is $2 for members and $4 for non-members. WIN and NIM meet at Rattlesnake Point Golf Club for a summer golf clinic from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m. (registration is at 6 p.m.) and its dinner meeting from 7:30 to 10 p.m. (registration from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.). Milton District Hospital holds a drop-in breastfeeding group with a certified lactation consultant from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory School, 540 Commercial St., with information shared and babies weighed. The Deck youth centre, 200 Main St. (rear entrance), invites students in Grades 6 to 8 to drop by between 3:30 and 6:15 p.m. to play a game of pool or just hang out. High school students are welcome from 7 to 11 p.m.

The Milton District Hospital Auxiliary holds its Giant Garage Sale in auction building No. 1 at the Milton Fair Grounds from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. Donations are gratefully accepted at the fairgrounds Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. No books, electronics or adult clothing.

The God's Girls Club holds a bake and craft sale at Southside Community Church, 2850 Derry Rd. W., from 8 a.m. to noon, with proceeds going to Partners International.
