Milton Meals on Wheels holds its Wheels to Meals lunch program for seniors at 11:30 a.m. at the apartment building at 80 Ontario St. For more information, call (905) 878-6699.

The free Milton Christian Ladies Coffee Hour meets from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at Milton Gospel Hall, 306 Ontario St., with guest speaker Denise Wilson and a feature on "Chocolate for your Health." For more information or transportation, call Alma at (905) 878-6345.

The Deck youth centre, 200 Main St. (rear entrance), invites high school students to drop by between 2:30 and 6 p.m. to play a game of pool or just hang out.

Free breastfeeding information is available at the Ontario Early Years Centre, 410 Bronte St. S., from 7:15 to 9 p.m. with leaders of the Milton group of La Leche League Canada leading a discussion on preparing for breastfeeding and gathering information to maximize your experience. The Milton Seniors' Activity Centre, 500 Childs Dr., holds contract bridge at 9:15 a.m., Mexican train dominoes from 1:30 to 4 p.m. and darts and billiards from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. The cost for each activity is $2 for members and $4 for non-members. Its weekly hot lunch takes place Irish style with a performance by the Song Spinners Chorus at 11 a.m. and lunch -- featuring Irish stew and green punch -- at 11:30 a.m. To sign up, call (905) 875-1681 in advance. A pie auction follows the lunch at 12:30 p.m. in the cafeteria.

Knox Presbyterian Church, 170 Main St. E., holds ecumenical noon hour services for Holy Week from 12:05 to 12:35 p.m. with a free, light lunch following each service. Everyone's welcome and nursery care is provided. Wheelchair access is at the Mary Street entrance.

THURSDAY MAR. 20

The Milton Historical Society meets at 8 p.m. at the Waldie Blacksmith Shop, 16 James St., for a presentation entitled 'Deadly Women of Ontario' by Cheryl MacDonald, author of 26 books on Canadian and Ontario history.
