BOURRET, Michael George- Oct. 25, 1954 - June 25, 2008. It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael, father of triplets Daniel, Connor, and Tarynne, and husband of Dale (Gordon). He is survived by his father, James Thomas Bourret of Brockville and his mother Elsie Elizabeth Wand of Montreal, and several siblings and his stepfather Richard F. Brown of Toronto. Originally from Montreal, he moved at 17 to attend film school at Conestoga College in Kitchener before settling in Toronto to work in the commercial film industry. Though committed to the film business, he quit to share in the challenge of raising kids with special needs. He enjoyed riding his Harley with Dale sharing the ride and playing pool with his friends at the Boston Manor. A memorial service will be held at the Glen Oaks Memorial Chapel and Reception Centre, 3164 Ninth Line (at Dundas), Oakville, 905 257 8822 on Thursday July 3, 2008 at 11 am. A reception to follow. She is survived by her loving children, Susan Fernandez (Dr. Robert), of San Mateo CA., Ted Ramsey (Heather) of Uxbridge ON, Anne Prins of Charlotte NC, and grandchildren Kathryn and Kevin Fernandez, Andrew Prins, Ashley Ramsey Grass (Bryan) and great-granddaughter Abigail Grass. Margaret cherished her nieces, Frances O'Connell, and Patricia Taylor, Mary Taylor, Elizabeth Panighel and Eithel Taylor and Barbara Keck who were an important part of her extended family, as were her nephews Price Taylor, Douglas and Donald Taylor, and Howard Brumbaugh. Betty was born in Port Colborne and her first career was there in the family shoe business; later, a second career as a remedial teacher with the Carleton and Peel School Boards. Betty was a proud graduate of Bishop Strachan School and Trinity College, University of Toronto, with Bachelor degrees in Arts and Education. Maria was an avid gardener and horticulturist. Past member of the Royal Botanical Gardens in Hamilton where she fell in love with water colour painting.
