Petro was on CBC’s show Dragons’ Den September 29, asking the panel of business moguls to invest in her series of children’s books about her pug, Wrinkles.
They chose to pass on the investment, but Petro said it was a great experience anyway.
“I had a lot of fun on the show. And the Dragons (panel of investors) are nowhere near as mean as they appear to be,” she said.
Monday at 8 p. m., viewers will be able to catch another appearance by Petro on the show. She said she expects it will include footage of Wrinkles playing with local kids taped earlier this year.
“There’s something really special about this dog,” she said.
Petro’s first book is entitled ‘Hi! My Name is Wrinkles.’ The second in the series, ‘Wrinkles Gets a Sister,’ will be out soon.
