Local residents can get up close and personal with a trio of talented musicians next Friday.
That evening, Just Milton Folks is kicking off its fifth season of intimate house concert-style performances at Hugh Foster Hall with a show by pop/acoustic/folk musician Brian MacMillan. He'll be joined by guitarist Oliver Johnson and singer/songwriter Layah Jane.
As part of an audience of only 50 people, those who attend will have a chance to talk to the performers at intermission over cookies and fair trade coffee.
Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets cost $20 and are available from Rose Brooks at (905) 876-2745 or through www.justmiltonfolks.ca.
