Mohawk celebrates Victoria Day

Mohawk Racetrack will celebrate Victoria Day weekend with its Fireworks and Family Fun Night Sunday.
Along with lighting up the sky to cap off the night at about 9:30 p.m. -- and of course an action-packed program on the track beginning at 6:30 p.m. -- there'll be face-painting, pony rides, a petting zoo, a host of live entertainment and a craft centre.
There will also be a special $3 kids meal that includes a hot dog, bag of chips, juice box and a glow necklace.
Race action will be highlighted by the $120,000 Ontario Sires Stakes Gold Final for three-year-old trotting fillies, as well as a $40,000 OSS elimination for three-year-old trotting colts and geldings.
